Those places where, the moment you arrive, you can feel yourself unwind. The busyness of everyday life fades away, and everything just feels a little lighter.
There's something special about the places that make us feel most like ourselves.
Hi, I'm Cynthia. The heart and creator behind Cyn's Custom Creations, a small Manitoba apparel business that began as a creative hobby in 2021.
What started as a love for creating grew into something much more meaningful. I discovered that my favourite designs weren't simply the ones that looked beautiful. They were the ones that brought back a memory, sparked a smile, or reminded someone of a place they love.
Inspired by the Places We Love
Home for me is La Salle, Manitoba, but some of my family's most treasured memories were made at Falcon Lake, where we spent countless summers together.
Long summer days, familiar cottage traditions, laughter that carried late into the evening, and those ordinary little moments that somehow become the memories we treasure most.
Today, Lee River holds another special place in my heart. It's where we continue making memories, slowing down, and enjoying the simple pleasures of lake life.
There's a certain comfort in returning to a place filled with memories, knowing there are still so many more waiting to be made.
And that's the feeling I hope to capture in my designs.
Because a town isn't just a name on a map. And a lake isn't just a destination.
They're the places we return to, the memories we hold close, and the moments that make life feel a little more beautiful.
Sometimes, even a simple hoodie can bring a little of that feeling home.
